Teaching and Learning

We aim for all our students to leave CCIS with a deep love for learning and the skills necessary to overcome any challenges they may encounter. Our teachers employ interactive lessons that cater to all learning styles. While they adhere to the British National Curriculum’s learning objectives, they also make adjustments to accommodate the various factors present in an international learning environment. Additionally, our teachers regularly attend professional development training to stay updated on best practices in education.

During their time at CCIS, students study primary subjects along with Kiswahili, the national language of Tanzania, Music, and Sport. In Upper Primary, students also engage in Religious Education. Furthermore, all students have the opportunity to participate in electives of their choice, utilize the well-stocked school library, and take part in daily devotions and meditation sessions.
