Overview

Teaching the Whole Child

Christ Church International School is a vibrant pre-school and primary school in the Arusha, Tanzania that provides high-quality Christian education for children from all over the world. At the time of writing, we have more than 15 nations represented amongst our students and we know this diversity enriches our students’ educational experiences!

We offer an international education that meets British National curriculum standards for students ages 3-14. Our teachers are well-trained and passionate about teaching your children!
We have maintained an affordable fee structure so that all of our families have an option for quality, international education for their children.
Our school is owned by the Anglican Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro. We are grateful for the spiritual guidance and prayers from our church supporters.

Teaching and Learning

We hope all our students leave CCIS with a great love of learning! Our teachers teach interactive lessons which active all learning styles and regularly attend professional development trainings to stay up to date with best practices.

While studying at CCIS, students learn the primary subjects as well as Kiswahili, the national language of Tanzania, Music, and Sport. In upper primary students also study religious education. All students have an opportunity to participate in electives of their choice, check out books from the well-stocked school library, and participate in daily devotions and meditation time.
